5 Misconceptions About Working out

5 misconceptions about working out.

People have alot of misconceptions about how they exercise which sometimes stands as a hindrance in achieving maximum result.
I will list the misconceptions ranging from how we exercise to how we eat below.

1. You must be mentally fit.
This is very important and essential but overlooked by people but i stand to say without the right orientation of seeing workout as something to enjoy instead of a task to be completed leads many people to start what they cannot finish hence unacomplished goals is the main result at the end of the day.

Abstain from sugary drinks.
Abstaining from sugary drinks ranging from lucozade to energy is the best way to accomplish that mission of having a perfect body.
Because all the sugar does is give you that much needed energy to thrive on but at the same time it does more harm than good due to its high calories level which leads to amassing more belly fat.

3. Water is your friend and not energy drinks.
Always go for water during workouts as its got zero calories and does the same job as lucozade will do only if you are in the right frame of mind of seeing your daily workout as something to be enjoyed instead of a task.
Water also helps you sweat and inturn burn fat which leads to weight reduction.

4. No pain No gain
Most people believe when they take painkillers after workout to ease the pain is actually good. No ,such practice is bad as you are deriving yourself of the much needed gain/reward after a strenuous workout. Now look at it this way if you have a savings account and you deposit £20 daily (workout) and you withdraw £20 daily (effect of painkillers ) it leaves you with nothing as the more you subtract from your gains on a daily basis amouts to no reward.

Don't Overwork Yourself.
Overworking yourself or training too hard will only run you down and leave you vulnerable to even have the necessary urge to go to the gym . Instead good eating habit, loads of rest and a balanced fitness routine which covers all aspect of your well being should be encouraged and developed.

Next time i will discuss on good eating habits and how to lose those pounds.
